CRU 15kHz possible with NVidia?
« on: December 26, 2016, 05:34:35 am »
My primary crt_emudriver laptop died recently, and i'm hoping to replace it with another that has an NVidia Quadro in it. I use it for testing game/emulators for my cabs and watching old 4:3 SD TV shows, so i only really need one or two SD resolutions on the second display output.

I've set up Custom Resolution Utility, and set up a 480i mode, but it displays a side-by-side double image (so 480p). It says it's at 30Hz in windows, it's the *only* resolution left to that display output as I've removed all the others.

Is it possible to use Custom Resolution Utility to output at 15kHz from a newer NVidia card under windows 7, or will i still need a dongle like for Soft15kHz?

EDIT: oops, i think i meant to post this in the monitor/video forum. I'll go do that now...
