Arcadeos/Vantage question
« on: January 22, 2004, 01:43:05 pm »
I'm running arcadeos on a 14" VGA rotated (to the right) and vantage.  Anyways, arcadeos displays fine (uses whole screen)but when the game is launched it doesn't use the whole screen.  I enabled stretch and crop in the vantage.cfg and that helped a bit but there is still a couple of inches of space on all four sides of the game--How do i get it to fill the screen?  Also, will the drill trick work to degauss computer monitors?

Yes, the drill trick will work.

How old is the 14"?  You might want to attempt using the arcade monitor feature.  I did it on mine and was _very_ pleasantly suprised when it worked.

Hmm tried the monitor setting but it didn't help--looks like its just a combination of an old crappy monitor and the quirkiness of vantage.  If anyone else has any ideas, I'd be happy to listen!
