So first off thanks for all the help last year.  The toasters I bought ended up being thrashed from shipping, but after sending them back I found a similar model in store and they were a big hit.  She hasn't had a pop-tart get stuck yet.  :)

So I'm trying to be thoughtful with my gift again this year.  Mom's other primary problem is that she constantly misplaces things.  Glasses, phone, keys, the remote, you name it.  The logical choice, of course are key finders.  I know tiles are all the rage, but upon looking into them they don't seem all that great.  Aside from the slightly expensive price, the units are sealed, so you can't change the battery and they go dead after a year.

I found the blip, a knock-off:

It's essentially the same concept only slightly uglier and with a battery you can change.  It also doubles as a camera remote, so bonus.  I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this particular model.  It's so cheap I'm probably going to just get at least one to see if she likes them.

In addition I found this more low-tech solution:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018S6IV4O/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1VUIM7F7YPT6W

These are just good old fashioned wireless transmitters.  I figure she could attach the remote to the inside of her purse and find keys and stuff that way.  Again, not that expensive, so I'll probably just get one for the heck of it.

That doesn't really help with phones and remotes ect.  Does anyone know of a solution that is thin, so it can be attached to more than keys?

Finally, and this is an elusive one.... I've been trying to find something that would be small enough to track her reading glasses.  I've came up empty on that one, so if anyone has any ideas.

Again, thank you all in advance, you are always helpful.

Buy her a Nintendoh Wii U. She will only play one game, and most likely you will end up getting it back as a Birthday present next year.  The gift that keeps on giving.
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

My grandma always kept her reading glasses on a chain around her neck. I realize that is not a solution for everyone, but she had all kinds of decorative chains.
