NullDC Crashing
« on: December 06, 2016, 10:24:12 am »
Hi,

I am new here. Building my first cab. I am setting up the software and having some issues, hoping someone can help.

Dell XPS 420
OS: Windows 10
Using Hyperspin and Rocketlauncher

I currently have MAME working 100%. I am trying to run Gauntlet Legends. I have read that using a dreamcast emulator is the best way to do so. I have spent many hours trying to get NullDC to work but it is not. I have downloaded Marvel Vs Capcom 2 to test the emulator. When I try to launch the game through RocketlauncherUI it says that there is no rom available. I have my roms In C: \ROMS\Sega Dreamcast. I have the proper extensions listed in RocketlauncherUI and in HyperHQ. 7zip is installed. I've tried compressed and decompressed roms. I've also tried setting "match rom extension" to true. That will cause NullDC to open but it gives a plugin error and will not close. Any help is appreciated.

I gave up on NullDC and went to Demul. Now I can get the emulator to boot but it tries to play the game like a music disc. Says track and the time. Anyone know how to make a rom self bootable or how to use the utopia boot disc thing?
