Well that was an adventure. It took far less time than I thought... other than the windows install itself, I've only put 2 or 3 hours into it spread out over a few days. I'm very impressed in regards to how app/game developers have learned to stop relying on the stupid windows registry. I only had to reinstall a couple of games.... most worked just fine. Ironically it was some of the newer emulators that needed reinstalled. Dolphin and the like have a lot of dependencies.
I've also got to say that my apps aren't nearly as difficult to install as people claim. From a fresh windows 10 install with NOTHING else I simply had to run the dx4vb app hosted on my website and run any of my programs as administrator the first time. That was it. DirectX was happy, windows was happy, ect. I had zero install issues with stuff like mamehooker and checkered flag and outrun fxt. I didn't have any issues on my main mame cab or my racing cab either, but I had installed visual studio 6 on those first, so I did this as an experiment. I'm not complaining about other people's difficulty, I'm just sayin'.......
Anyway, experiments aside, other than moving some files around I'm back up with a fully working pc that has my development tools and photoshop installed. So ask away.
Sorry to clutter the board with unnecessary stuff.
