Replacing graphic on coin plate
« on: October 12, 2016, 12:39:17 pm »
Please see the below pic. I am looking to replace the graphics on this coin plate. I can do the artwork easy enough, but it there some kind of adhesive vinyl, or decal, or some special kind of decal paper I cna buy to print it out? Or is there a vendor that can print it for me? I am looking for something that will adhere to the metal and be durable. I assume it was originally silkcreened somehow?

if you want to DIY, you can do a b/w version fairly easily...

there was corybee here doing some custom serial plates... maybe give him a PM or something.

otherwise you are looking at making and silkscreening your own. not impossible, but certainly a pile of effort. be okay for a small run, but not really a one off.

lastly... maybe go to staples and pick up some clear label material and print it out. then you can apply it and lacquer it on.

Thanks lilshawn! I'm going to try Pnp-blue. I've acid etched in college - I had no idea I could do a laser printer. Cool!

It may be a little late but you could try custom trophy shops. I know the one near me can do multicolour metal plates
