SYST3M..Multi gaming Bartop
« on: October 03, 2016, 07:26:46 pm »
Hello boys and girls.

After almost two and a bit years away I'm back to building following a serious illness I've now overcome.
You may remember my old build id started. ::)

I've restarted the Bartop and again it will be a multi system this time featuring a PS4/XBOX 1 & a high end motherboard running a front end I've yet to decide. As before the whole system will be water cooled including two reservoirs, cooling fans and some other bits of arcade porn. I've only started today and I've managed to get one side of the Cab done. This will be a no expense spared build, because I think I deserve it, Hopefully you will be along for the ride with me. I've also got my hands on a new 3d printer so i can make some custom mounts and other goodies.

I've added the progress pictures below, i know how much you all love to see the sawdust flying. I've cut both sides of the cab, completed the monitor bezel, started the bezel support and hardware mounts, Kurf cut the front lower panel to flow with the profile of the cab.

A few weeks ago i built a staging frame to hold the cab while i am making the various panels
the frame will allow me to fix all the panels together with minimal fuss.
I've added the screen and bezel to show some perspective of the cab.

I've also worked on the bezel back plate which will be back lit and wrapped in vinyl, housing the water reservoirs.

For some reason i decided to drop a screwdriver on the panel  :banghead: :censored:

I've added some filler to repair the small indentation, which i will repair at a later time.

That staging frame is a really good idea. I can see why that would be really useful while your cutting panels.

Your monitor might be a bit low tho.  >:D

The monitor is just sitting there for perspective.

Just received my reservoirs, as im not ready to use them for a while ive added the pictures from Overclockers uk
who were good enough to give me one for free, given the amount of money i spend with them  :timebomb:
check them out here https://www.overclockers.co.uk/configurator-monsoon-mmrs-bundle-bu-003-mo.html
