Love the build! I really like the Tully cabarets and Q Bert is great. How are you liking the jrok board? I wish I had more room to do a Q Bert bartop.

I love the Jrok board. Jrok himself will be at the repair party in November, BTW!

Seriously? Arcade celebrity in Phoenix! I want to get either a Taito or the Berserk board, but I haven't decided which one.
I know. I wouldn't mind getting the Multi-Williams and just sitting on it. That's what I did with the Q*Bert. I saved it for the right opportunity.

Thanks, the one that was there was that generic picture of fingers putting a coin in. So I thought I'd change it up.

Do you have the design files for the cab and, if so, would you mind sharing?  Not sure if it's kosher since Tully jumped ship.

I'm sure the late Tully wouldn't mind.

The only plans I have are the cut line graphic Louis shared. It's still available on this site in various threads. Here it is for posterity sake...

Btw, the distance from the back to the peak is 10 inches.

Awesome, thanks.  I love cabaret styles.  I want to build one of these and one of the American Ace style from this thread.

Thanks, brother. I love the knocker. The thwack! you hear when Coiky falls to his doom is strangely satisfying. The knocker scared my daughter the first time she played it.

Haha! Sick coin reject button. Love it!

Hey Yots, question about those plans.  I've been going through Tully's original thread as well as "Depleted Uranium".  I've tossed the cut sheet into Sketch-up and it really seems like something is missing.

I'm assuming the back is made of 3 panels?  Top to bottom would be a 10"x18" panel, then the 21"x18" panel, then the 4" panel on top...  The problem is that leaves a large gap.  I'm pretty certain that the 35" panel is for the front.  Also, there isn't a panel for the bottom of the cab.  Did you just use a scrap panel for the bottom?

What am I missing?

Slippy, I used a piece of 1/2" MDF for the back door. I don't think Tully's design takes the back door into account. It was two years ago, so it's been a while.

Just looked at the plans again. Yes, everything is accounted for except the back door. I built mine out of 3/4 ply I bought at Home Depot, cut in 2 4x4 panels. There was enough wood for every thing but the back. So I used the Kreg to build it, then used the MDF I had on hand for the back door.

Oh, and it goes like this from top to bottom - 10" for the roof, 10" for upper back, whatever size for the back door, and 4" for the bottom. Let me check my pix to verify that. The 18x21 board is for the floor.

Yeah, look at the pics. 10" on the top, 4" on the bottom. I also used some precut 1"x1" strips I bought at HD for batons for the back and monitor area.

If you want to come over one day to look at the construction, let me know. Bring the missus!!!

I'm actually cutting and rough assembly today.  We'll see how it goes.  My "straight" lines tend to be anything but.  The notion to have the store rough cut the sheet into 2 22" widths and 2 18" widths didn't occur to me, so I'm ripping at home.
