Here it is from the backside with everything hooked up and ready to wire, except there is one mistake.

You may not be able to tell from the picture though.

Here is the ground wire laid.  I also tested the ground with a multimeter.  First time doing something like that so imagine my surprise when the dang thing worked.

One of the buttons at the top, I have put in the microswitch upside down.  As soon as I started to wire it, I was like, damn I am an idiot.  And I took the picture to prove it =^)>

And I have to say it does not even look the same.

My brother and I spent a few minutes playing 1943 or 1942 testing out the 8 ways, plays like a champ.  But I need to replace that damned ultimate.

Does anyone know a red joystick that can use the same holes as the ultimate, but does not suck like the ultimate?

That panel looks pretty darn sharp man! Nice tidy job on the wireing.
I agree with you about the ultimate SUCKING.  I assume that that is the happ 4 way?  I had gotten one of those with my SLIKSTIK i ordered about a year ago.  I was in total shock when i first played with the happ 4 way on a game of pac-man and MS. pac.    No....actually , i was just out right PISSED!  That stick felt like crap and the reaction time when trying to make snap moves to avoid the ghost was a big joke.    I am on a quest for a wico 4 way leaf!    I played one last night at a local bowling alley and was in LOVE.  I had literally forgotten how nice one of those felt.  Especially after playing the crappy happs 4 way, i now HAVE TO HAVE one of the old sticks, if for nothing else just for pac-man and the like.

congrats on the panel and what looks like a start of a cab.  One day i hope to have one of my own hehee.  Not till i get my own house though, so i don't have to move it around alot  hehe.

Take care,
GroovY~  :D

Yes the ultimate bites hard.

I played pac-man with the Supers are not too bad.

So I may get myself a Super and a 4 plate to make it only 4 way.
