crtemu driver and groovymame help ?
« on: September 09, 2016, 02:10:02 pm »
I have just installed groovymame and crtemudriver in my cab this week, But im having some screen size issues , Im running on a 20inch crt tv through rgb scart.on a radeon 5450.
screen res set at 640x480@50hz through arcade osd.
The problem im having is with my screen position, if i adjust my desktop position through the Tvs pots and get it perfect, when i go into groovymame, the screen position is way out of position or too high up the screen . i can adjust the pots with groovymame running and get it perfect, but when i go back to the desktop ive lost screen position, taskbar etc,
Switchres appears to be working correctly as its switching resolutions per game.
Any ideas thanks

Can't you use 640x480@60hz and adjust orientation there? Why did you use 50hz? Even if your tv is PAL since you are using RGB SCART 60hz is no problem.

I had the same test setup for a little while, running both a tv and a 1084 monitor - I didn't have to adjust much : not every game was perfect but they were all centered and needed minor corrections that you can live without  :)

Check this.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.
