Makavision Model: M2929D1-62 Graphics Card Help

I'm needing to figure out what graphics card I should use for this video monitor? I've installed graphics cards in the past on older computers using PCI, but this computer has a PCI-E port for the card that I'm unfamiliar with. I do have the original graphics card it was used with (Silver Strike Bowling) but I would need to convert it from a PCI to a PCI-E. Am I better off getting an adapter to convert the card over, or just getting a new graphics card altogether?
