Demul Vsync ON/Off choppyness
« on: July 15, 2016, 06:21:30 pm »
Hi. Sorry for making my first post asking for help but... Recently I swapped my Gpu to a Radeon HD 7870 and when I use Demul, if i turn the vsync off, the frame rate becomes really choppy. Vsync turned on  runs smooth as the real deal, but with a really noticeable input lag.
I have a Naomi Board and I can confirm that for some reason the system already has a quite noticeable input lag. So the original lag + the vsync lag makes it almost unplayable.

Already tested with a Radeon 7850 as well... same thing.

I bought this new board just for Demul, and now this... wondering if there's anything I could to turn vsync off and have a smooth experience (albeit with tearing and everything) Other stuff runs just fine.

Thanks in advance. If I could use the opportunity, always wanted to say that this project is one, if not the most, cool thing regarding accurate emulation.

Well, nevermind... after much poking discovered that Demul 0.582 works better overall with the driver.
