  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
crt_emudriver win7 and DMS59+VGA splitter
« on: June 13, 2016, 03:37:18 am »
Hi all
Has anyone successfully installed crt_emudriver 2.0 on win7 using ATI HD 3xxx that only has a DMS59 with VGA splitter and a s-video out. Have been trying to get it done using Calamity's tutorial at

http://geedorah.com/eiusdemmodi/forum/viewtopic.php?id=298

Everything goes smoothly until it comes to installing the drivers after setting Test signing on. As I understand the drivers should be installed and then return to the desktop with the setup dialogue box showing crt_emudriver as the installed driver. However after 20-30 mins I still have a blank screen on my setup monitor (arcade monitor not connected).
If I restart the pc, I get an out of sync message 15.7kHz/60Hz on my setup monitor. If I then plug the arcade monitor in to the 2nd vga port on the splitter, I have a desktop on the arcade but am unable to access any shortcuts, open display settings etc.
I have no idea what is happening, hope somebody can shed light as to wtf is going on.
Cheers ppl
