Is it normal that, each time I power up my cab, and launch MAME.exe, I have to go to display options, and deselect "Enable Stretch" (something like that, can't remember the right phrase but it's something like that) so that I get full screen games? If I don't, then my games run at a small square. Other than that, everything works great. I have a 9250 VGA, and I used Cools method for setting up everything with Win XP.
Everytime I close MAME and re-open it, I have to change that option.

I think I will format and do a clean re-install anyway, just so I know that I have the latest files. Just want to know if this is something that everyone else does, or just me?

You need to provide more information about your hardware specs, what type of monitor, and which versions of GroovyMAME and CRT_EmuDriver you are using.

Also provide a log file from when the problem is happening.

Could be as simple as making sure your mame directory isn't set as read only. That would explain why your changes aren't holding.
