Anyone built recent groovymame for win32 on win64 PC ?
« on: April 21, 2016, 05:32:37 pm »

I downloaded the new build tools and compiled mame0169 64bit  (back when it was the latest)

Now I want to build groovymame for my win32 machine. First step is to build mame as 32bit on my 64bit PC.

The instructions at http://mamedev.org/tools/  just say run config32.bat to switch
Then I do:    make REGENIE=1   (result is same with/without REGENIE )

and get the error:     makefile:849:  *** MINGW64 is not set. Stop.

well, it seems to be building OK on the arcade machine (winXP 32bit).
Not as convenient or fast but it'll do.
