Feedback & ideas for Some Unusual Builds I am Working On
« on: April 19, 2016, 01:30:48 pm »
So, I am going to have an area at ReplayFX this summer (google it if you dont know what it is). My section will be in the Console Game area. Since ReplayFX started out as a pinball championship, I thought it would be cool to highlight some of the better Video Pinball games that have come out over the years. (Devil's and Alien's Crush on the TG16, Super Pinball on the SNES, Necromicon on the Saturn, etc etc). I have a huge game console collection, so I will be bringing a bunch, plus making some Emulators based of some Pies. I wanted to (cheaply) come up with some cool table/game station/ kiosk ideas for this whole thing. I own the TVs already for all of this--six of the Retro red one, two of the Crosley Wood grain ones, and about 10 of the 15" LCD ones. So, here are a few I came up with in Sketchup, along with what I have done so far for real. The Red Retro TV stations will have Pie emulators and arcade controls. Most of the furniture is hacked ikea stuff (I need a lot and they are cheap!)

So, looking for additional feedback and ideas. One thing that I think would be neat is to somehow find something to "connect" the two black shelves/rails holding the three white LCD tvs--like a half circle something or other that i can attach to each side to make it look like a circle or something.

I also have Hammarun (SP?) from this site making some cool tabletop pinball control panels based off of his Barstick model. I will throw up a picture of that later.
