Looking for a good Jukebox software
« on: February 27, 2016, 07:30:44 pm »
Hi,
I am a Commercial Jukebox Opperator in Central America.
In my part of the world Video is everything, costumers don't hear much mp3, everybody likes videos,
I have used Vrockola, (crashes every 2 hours), Virtual Music Jukebox (just when the party gets good it will start throwing Runtime errors at you)
But now I need something purely commercial minded, not garage, or mancave, or BBQ happening jukebox,
Needs to run stable like S.K. and be easy to program and load music in it, like S.K.
Doesn't depend on ID3 Tags
Needs to be good with video files, AVI, MPEG 1&2, mp4, HD,
Run on Windows 7,
Be able to use normal keyboard keystrokes for Credit Pulses, and vol+ vol- skip songs etc etc
Be programable for advertising between selections or while not playing etc etc
Split Video, Jukebox screen for song selection, and external out to show advertising and Music Video images
Very important software must stable, no software freezing, or skipping selections, or hanging or crashing, or giving errors. Stable or trouble free (like S.K.).
Have been trying one out for 2 months but it crashes and hangs and freezes, realy bad, cost me $49.95, and also would requiere Tagging and converting to mp4 about 8000 video tracks. No time for that.
Would not mind paying, but software must be good, no midnight service calls.

I was a Rowe authorized distr. and they won't sell me that thechnology, they say it has to do with licensing in my part of the world, also they used purely music and no video, also, those machines are to fancy for mostof my clients, and they won't structurally survive two months of drunks beating them up. I am currently using a very good and stable software from a south American company, but they halted development, it's limited to XP, won't play mp4or H.D. videos, also customers want that easy search feature, type the song name and ready. I am using all Rowe and Rock-ola digital boxes, but with my own hardware and software.
I would like to know about E Touch, if I pay that 275 $ will I get a nice trouble ang glitch free software?
Where can I download a triial version?

Shipping something from the U.S. to Canada for repair/exchange?  Please use USPS to avoid (additional?/excessive?) shipping charges.  PM me if you have any questions.
