Sapphire Radeon HD 7790 not supported?
« on: February 10, 2016, 04:58:43 pm »
Hi. Just got a Sapphire Radeon HD 7790.
Tried installing CRT Emudriver 2, but it couldn't detect the card, so i added the ven&dev(VEN_1002&DEV_665C) manually. I was able to install, but after the system restarts, the drivers won't work.
In device manager there's an exclamation mark on the display adapter with: "Code 43: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems".
I guess it's not supported. Is there a chance it will be supported, Calamity?
Thanks.

It won't work with CRT Emudriver 2.0, but don't throw it away. Cards launched after summer 2012 won't probably work. As soon as this version of the drivers is settled down I'll work in supporting the rest of the cards from 2012 - 2016.

Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.

Throw it away? I've just bought it.
Thank you, looking forward.
