Classic martial arts marquee
« on: February 10, 2016, 02:37:34 am »
I 'm looking for an artist who is willing to help me create a classic martial arts marquee. I m a total noob when it comes to creating digital graphics.
I already had something in mind: would like the titel master of kung fu like on the comic (see attach) and left & right from this the drawing (other attach) on a purple background. If someone wanna have a go at it would be much appreaciated.

Can you tell us what dimensions your marquee will be? Maybe I can stir something up.

Just a first draft, so you can see where I'm going with it. It will take some time to cleanup and finish this so please inform me if you like the idea. Any suggestions are welcome.

Nice work, lovin it.

Would it be a lot of work to recolor his suit to orange? Could you try to lower the nipple a bit.

I can recolor the suit to orange, it shouldn't be to hard.
About the nipple, that is another story. I'm redoing the body of the girl so the nipple isn't at the final place. Moving it is always possible but it looked perky to me.

But as you overall like it I'll keep tweaking it and post my progress so you can give remarks.

What do you think of this?

I think the one without the lines around the girl looks  more balanced.

You 're right the bottom one without the lines is better (cleaner), i like it.
