LCD or CRT big buck hunter 2 sportsman paradise

Does anyone know In a big buck hunter 2 sportsman paradise can you replace the screen with a lCD monitor and the guns still work? and if so any ideas what is a good monitor to use for it?

no LCD's will 100% not work.

the system used to find the position of the gun will not work with an LCD because the LCD updates the complete panel, every frame, nearly instantaneously.

CRT's take 1/60th of a second to draw a single frame. this time is used to determine where the gun is pointed.

they have gotten around this with the new big buck HD games that use LCD/Plasma displays...they use a camera mounted in the gun to read sensors around the monitor to determine the gun position.
