Should I use the CGA/EGA input or the VGA input?
« on: January 13, 2016, 04:08:52 pm »
I'm planning on running GroovyMAME and CRT Emudriver with a Radeon 4xxx series card on my Wells Gardner D9200. It has an input for either CGA/EGA or VGA. In order to run all MAME games as close to their original resolution and refresh rate as possible, which input should I be using?

You can only use the VGA as far as I understand.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.

Thanks, Calamity. I'll make sure I connect through VGA then. I can just connect a VGA cable from my graphics card tot he VGA port on the monitor then? No converters or any other equipment necessary?

You should be fine doing that.
