Mala changing paths when using Mess

I've been struggling for a couple of weeks with paths and file extensions getting fouled up when trying to launch Atari games with Mess through Mala.  Anybody have an idea what I'm doing wrong?  Mame, Fusion and snes9x all work fine.  Thanks in advance!

First, I need to apologize for posting this in the wrong forum.  I've been away for 10 years and didn't notice the separate Mala support forum. 

I got the paths straightened out.  I simply had to refresh my games lists.
