Mala + mame + HLSL

What HLSL do you recommend? I heard about Jezze and U-man and I think there work have been included in Mame , could you confirm please. I'm a very noob about HLSL and I don't really know where to begin. Any help or up to date tutorial will be greatly appreciated :)

Use MAME 0.168 and I'm quite torn between these two settings. Both look really good too me :)

That is correct, Jezze has been working on HLSL updates. I forget the versions of MAME off the top of my head, but around 0.162 or so received an update to the Raster HLSL. And 0.166 or so received an update Vector HLSL functionality.

I don't know the details as I haven't messed with it too much, but there was some issue with the Raster setting and some people were pulling a different set of HLSL "FX" files from the source rather than the ones that come with the build version.
