Running .exe and .bat files from EmulationStation config
« on: November 11, 2015, 03:49:11 pm »
Hey guys,

I am on the slow road to building my own retro games console with an Intel NUC. I've got emulationstation and retroarch running nicely but I have some games where I'd simply like to run the PC version. I'm a big fan of those horrid early 90s FMV games by American Laser Games and I'd like to run digital leisure's versions as I think they're more solid than the Daphne SINGE collection. I can copy all of the CD-ROM files to my hard drive and run them no problem but when I direct emulationstation's <command> line to the .exe or a .bat file it either doesn't launch them or gives me some video memory error. Has anyone else had issue getting emulationstation to run straight .exe commands? Thanks

Rob
