TXFBM019TB2 LCD Display - What kinda Stuff can I hook to it?
« on: October 16, 2015, 05:24:19 am »
OK so I got some supposedly brand new because it still had the plastic on them (2) TXFBM019TB2 Panasonic 7 Inch Displays, legend has it they're used in pachinko machines and can take RAW Composite Sync CGA.

I tried wiring it to my PSOne, PS2 and PS3 on YPbPr Cables, the picture shows but rolls and waves.

The Dreamcast did this weird rolling into a stable split video thing like Occulus Rift on 31khz VGA. (I bet if I had a VGA BOX with the pins set for 15khz RGB instead of a Tomee Cable it would probably spit out CGA)

Soft15khz worked for a *while* until the picture slowly drifted off (curse you unshielded cables!!!)

So, Besides a Straight up JAMMA board, what could I interface this with?

is there a way to get anything into it without a GBS8100?

Should I just Sell them?

Would anyone be willing to trade a single LCD for an X-In-One Jamma box?

It turns out one of my junked playstations is capable of outputting composite sync, so I'm probably going to hard solder one of these to the motherboard and then use it for my other project which is building a solid state board so I can dump certain Arcade games into it.
