DIY Space Invaders Deluxe Color Monitor Overlay and Backdrop?
« on: October 02, 2015, 03:13:14 am »
Hey Guys,

I think Midways Space Invaders Deluxe upright (and possibly Taito Space Invaders part 2 upright) used a colour overly over the monitor to give colours from the black and white monitor. Were they both the same on the midway and the taito and has anyone made one themselves? If so what materials, size, colours did you use or can you buy repros somewhere?

Also I think I saw a video somewhere that said the Space Invades Deluxe had some sort of backlit backdrop thing? are repros available for this or has anyone made one?

Cheers
