Author Topic: [Solved] Why I can't get rid of nag screens even with the right .INI?  (Read 2844 times)

  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
I can't understand why even using this commands, I still have nag screens: Warning (yellow screen) and the blue (Switchres) screen.

Command in the mame.ini file:

skip_ gameinfo 1
disable_nagscreen_patch 0
disable_loading_patch 0

Using GM 0.160

Have you seen this thread?

You need to compile your own version of Mame.
If you can read this, it means Photobucket's money grab ruined my signature photos.

You need to compile your own version of Mame.

Thanks vwalbridge. Actually I was about to delete my post because it was a stupid mistake. Running GM directly worked OK, but not from HyperSpin frontend. Turns HyperSpin was pointing to another MAME folder (with diferent .ini file...)

So, I guess there is no need to recompile for the nag screens.
