Is there any value to updating a working hyperspin 1.0 set-up?
« on: September 10, 2015, 05:04:07 pm »
It looks like things are at 1.4.  My set-up works fine, so I need to have a reason to update it, but I don't know what I'm missing at the moment.  If it matters, I only use 4:3 set-ups.  If I end up on a 16:9 TV, I just leave the black bars on the sides, since the games will be that way as soon as I hit start.

None whatsoever if you are happy with your setup. If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it.

+1 Your hyperspin is going to be mad at you if you fiddle with it.

However, if you insist on upgrading, at least set up the latest version on another machine and move your files over systematically so you don't fubar your main setup.
If you can read this, it means Photobucket's money grab ruined my signature photos.
