JPAC - How the heck do you troubleshoot?
« on: September 04, 2015, 06:15:08 pm »
Win7 with the Calamity driver. Using Arcade OSD to switch to 640x480 15k.

When I switch to 15k on a VGA monitor, it's easy to see it worked.

It doesn't look like a 31k problem, right? Looks like resolution switched back to 1024 or something? Why is it purple? How can I troubleshoot in Arcade OSD if I can't see what I'm doing? I've tried remote-ing into it with VNC but VNC's display driver confuses Arcade OSD.

Update. Same look even at first boot on the bios screen. Do I possibly have a bad JPAC? I should at least get proper color and see what's going on at 31k correct?

You ARE supplying it with power via ps2/USB right?

Yeah that's probably the problem.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.

yes all 3 LEDs are lit solid. In fact they are lit ALWAYS even when not connected to a jamma harness. Is this right?
