SIDE ART TEMPLATES
« on: August 21, 2015, 03:40:04 am »
Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times.. Any advice on creating a blank Illustrator and Photoshop file to be used to create the side art for an arcade. Not sure if there are a ton of blank versions out there already that I can grab. If not I wasn't sure the best way to create an accurate schematic of all my measurements in one of Adobe's products.

thanks!

Well, do you mean a generic template or for a specific cabinet?

I was told when I got the cabinet that it might be the body of a Mortal Kombat machine.. But haven't been able to confirm. I figured I was going to start from scratch.

Show us a picture of your cabinet and I'm sure you will get an answer pretty soon what cabinet it is.

Not sure if this will help..

my cabinet is 35 5/8' wide and 73" high at one corner and 69 1/4" high at the other corner.

thanks.

Others might have to correct me, but at a first glance it looks like a standard Midway cabinet. This one was housing a lot of different games like the NBA, NFL & NHL sport games and also Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct. So the artwork for any of those games should give you a good starting point.
