My build is almost done
« on: August 20, 2015, 07:10:52 pm »
First of all, a huge thanks to this forum.  I had zero experience doing anything like this before starting this project.  I'm still a novice, but I am super happy with how it's turning out.

I have the plexi for the marquee and the bezel, along with the marquee itself, on the way.  I still have to install the monitor, but the computer and software are up and running.  I also have a gfx card on its way.  I have yet to try the CP with the new computer, so fingers crossed that goes well.

You can give that spinner a nickname

Suggestions "the splint," "knuckle buster," or "jammit"

Haha.  I guess I play the trackball differently than many because I haven't even come close to hitting the spinner.

I do try

megamoze, if you could only know the Two Thumbs vs. He-Man Trackball message board battles of old on the BYOAC message board!

I'm sure I can figure out which side you'd fall on  ;D  It's a pretty good looking build so far man, even if I would have put the spinner somewhere else.
