GroovyArcade update
« on: August 13, 2015, 06:37:32 am »
Hi,

I'm running GroovyArcade-Arch2013.02.24-x86_64.iso. I want to update to the latest version GroovyArcade-Arch2015.02.15-x86_64.iso but I cannot find any information on how to do this.  Can someone help?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Matt

Haven't looked at GA in a while but seem to remember an option in the setup menus to automatically download an update?

Hi,

Thanks for your help. I get gasetup failed on that option. I've installed a fresh system with the latest beta ISO and the problem is the same. There doesn't seem to be a way to update via this option. But I did discover during setup the current beta iso detects the existing install so this might prove useful in the future for someone else.

Cheers,
Matt

/usr/local/bin/UpdateGroovyMame.sh tries to download from mario.groovy.org - which seems dead, in fact the whole groovy.org seems to be out of service.
