NEC XM 2950 JUST AQUIRED.
« on: July 28, 2015, 03:18:10 pm »
I just picked this up on Craigslist for free I was looking for an extra monitor for my video surveillance system because my DVR crapped out. The guy said the picture tube was bad.  got it home and plugged it in and the hair on my arm stood up. Hmmmm? I browsed over the online manual and reset some of the DIP switches plugged in a camera and a couple of monitors an LCD and a cheap TV/vcr combo I had laying around and using bnc to rca adapter and vga I had a picture on all three including the XM2950! SWEET! Since I am a newbie and just looking at getting into some classic  for the nostalgia of it, (class of 84') Rules! ;) I would like some advice on how to acquire some classic systems and games etc. What kind of cords I will need  stuff like that so I can make the most of this classic monitor. I really like the Williams arcade classics with Robotron defender and the like and I was given one original Xbox years ago that I don't know if it even works, I've never plugged it in and I have no games.
