Test mode
« on: July 20, 2015, 07:55:39 pm »
I just noticed the other day that my desktop says its in test mode. I know that I had to enter test mode during they install. Does this have to stay this way?

You've provided no actual information here.  What OS you got?  What is the exact wording of the msg?  What install - was it clean install, update, upgrade?

The "test mode" watermark is completely normal (as mentioned in the driver installation guide) and it can't be removed as it's necessary to allow the hacked driver to work.

The test mode is indeed required for the driver to work, but the watermark can be removed while staying in test mode.

See here: http://deepxw.blogspot.co.uk/2008/12/remove-watermark-v03-build-20081210.html

It's a hack, so use at your own risk.

I tested this hack with Win 7 x64 Home Premium some time ago and works great.
