I understand they've started emulating the drum sounds in Kung Fu Master and other games that use the M62 sound chip by modelling the discrete circuitry, does anyone know if someone out there is porting the old emulation for this chip to the new versions?

I suspect the answer is probably no, but I thought I'd ask in case anyone had their ear to the ground and heard something. :)
