naw..too old for all that :dizzy:

been there done that tho. beat up TOP of the top players out there and I won local and online tournaments. just don't have what it takes anymore..

Yeah, I wanted to go at least once in my lifetime. I haven't been to one of these before and aside from actually competing, I'm looking forward to the rest of the show, including meeting up with some forum members and throwing down on some games.
I read that there are a few side-tournaments going on -- one for Super Turbo, and another for KOF XIII, that I might look into joining.
I wish I went last year, because they had a Soul Calibur II HD Online tourney, and that's one of my favourite games as well.

In any case, it'll be a fun gaming weekend, and I haven't been back to LV in about 10 years! I wonder if the Monte Carlo still has my favourite Pai Gow Poker table in service. Love playing that game at a Vegas casino (the game is built so that you can practically stand with the dealer every hand...meaning, free drinks all night!)

competition is FIERCE. I thought I was GOOD at fighting games(at least one to be specific, cvs2) then I saw bunch of people just as good and better. was fun playing all kinds of different people. the japanese players had really good execution too.

This fight was one of my favourite matches of EVO:


Valle's Hugo is scary! I haven't seen anyone in UltraSF4 play Hugo as tight as Valle has. Reminds me of the Third Strike days.
The guy just kept walking forward smackin' the crap out of Bonchan.  Bonchan didn't know how to play against it!

alex valle was kicking ass at evo before it was evo..matches recorded in vhs tapes and all that  :dizzy:
high level footsie game right here..I learned watching these guys


snaake doesn't win evo but can handle locals ;)
