How do I keep the ArcadeOSD resolution after shutdown?
« on: June 25, 2015, 09:09:16 am »
After searching for an hour I can't figure this out. I am using ArcadeOSD to pick the resolution that I like in 15 hz and am playing MAME games. However, whenever I shutdown the computer, it reverts back to the original resolution. How can I get to a place where, after I turn on my computer it will eventually go to the 15 hz resolution I picked in ArcadeOSD? Or is it easier just to keep the computer always on? BTW I have windows 7 and use HyperSpin.

Thanks in advance

In Arcade OSD, use the option "set as default display mode".

If that doesn't work, select the mode in the w7 display properties dialog, advanced, show all modes.

Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.

Please try first with Arcade OSD if you don't mind.

Not sure if this makes a difference but, have you set ArcadeOSD to run as an administrator?
