Mamewah 1.63 - Using Romlist file in Mamewah
« on: June 22, 2015, 01:30:10 pm »
Hi Folks,

Cant figure it out, got my list generated from romlister to filter out only the games I was to play and show up in Mamewah. Saved the file as .lst in the mamewah main folder. Now how do I get Mamewah to read off this list and display this games list? Using Mamewah 1.63 and mame 0.149. Now to my second problem Mamewah shows only 74 games in my list, yet I have over 2800 roms (probably clones in there also) in my folder. Just can't figure out what I am doing wrong :banghead:

Thanks.

Two things. First you must created new ini [emulator]-2.ini for this custom list in config/[your emulator] for example in config/mame create mame-2.ini or copy mame-0.ini as mame-2.ini. Once you did that open mame-2.ini with notepad and edit single line
 list_title                                All Games

to

list_title                                [some new name here]

After that put your list in files as [emulator]-2.lst (number must match your ini number).

In MAMEWAH hit key 2 and from menu select your list.
