Bubble Bobble

Hi guys,

Just a quick one, does the original bubble bobble work on the latest version of mame?
I've upgraded today from mame32 and now only super bubble bobble works.
Do I just need an updated Rom?

IMHO, your best bet is to start by finding the desired ROMset version (or the closest version you can find + incremental updates) then get the version of MAME that matches.  YMMV.

Here's the list of updates to Bubble Bobble between 0.141 and 0.162 from mameinfo.dat:

Fixed clone Bobble Bobble (set 2) romload typos.

- 0.145u5: ANY and The Dumping Union added clone Bobble Bobble (set 2).

- 0.141u1: M6801 changes [Curt Coder]: Added operating mode enum. Fixed port writes. Implemented SCI status follower bits. Implemented port 3 strobed mode. Fixed port writes some more.

Reverted back to mame v.151 and everything works fine now:)
