Arcadeos Problem with Onboard Intel video chipset
« on: December 31, 2003, 06:07:20 am »
Anyone know why and what the solution is the following.

I have built alot of mamed machine over the past year, however when i try to use a pc using a intel based onboard chipset the following occurs every time. (I am using standard pc monitor not an arcade one)

When exiting from the game being played back to the Arcadeos menu you always get a blank error message asking you to press "2" to clear the message.

Never happens with an ATI card, now while i like the idea of using ATI's, there are a lot of cheap "scrap" machines available that have the intel chipsets onboard that can be used for little or no costs.

hardware spec has varied with the same problems, but all have had the intel onboard video chipsets.
dos mame version .68 -.77
arcadeos 2.5
standard config files.

Any help would be great.
