I found one of these locally for practically free. Is this anything useful for our hobby? I was thinking maybe a Space Invaders+more cocktail or something. Do these newer B&W monitors have the same look and phosphor glow as older ones?

I would recommend snagging it up rather than wondering any day. Plus if it doesn't glow you can always innovate with either a scotch-brite pad, maybe some fuzz, or a blurry clear film to lay on top. Have fun with it and post pictures when you do!

If you snagged it up and feel like selling it, I am looking for this very monitor for my office.
