Horizontal Green line, nothing else
« on: May 13, 2015, 10:17:16 am »
I've got an arcade monitor (unknown monitor at this time) that displays a bright neon green line across the center.

I know its not much info, but I havent had a chance to dig into it.

Cap kit? Flyback? Other?

Its a shooting game, so the monitor would be mounted horizontal.

Its a Wells Gardner, 25" or 27" flavor.

don't forget to check the retrace cap, and/or degraded solder on the IC   likely a TDA1771

cap is typ 100-330uF/35-50 volt
