I made the mistake of wondering why the degauss coil was not plugged in.   :badmood:

When turned on, I saw a spark and the fuse on the main power supply went out.  Getting it back running w/o degauss plugged in, I hear the sound of the monitor, see the orange glow on crt tube, but there is no picture whatsoever.

Any theories as to what I messed up? :dizzy:

Well, I figured out that it was probably due to a broken Posister, meaning that it basically shorted the power supply.  Luckily, no major damage to monitor but messed with the controls, making it appear that it had no picture.  Picture isn't perfect (I did see a spark somewhere afterall) but I'll figure that out later.  Thanks.
