What kind of controller are you using?

I know if I use the motion plus when launching some games it crashes.

Also was this working before or is this all new?

it was working 2 years ago no issues added mame to sd card now crashes but I also made a back up of original sc card without mame and it still crashes. I was able to get it to load mame but when I scroll through games it crashes if I select as soon as it loads it will go into the game then I start hitting buttons on controller then crash. im using original wii remote no motion plus. Did you ever try hooking an ipac to the wii via usb, that would be my ultimate goal or any other encoder someone metioned for me to wait for the KADE.

I haven't tried hooking it up to an i-pac yet.

What version is the wii?

Since it worked before and you said its happening to all the emulators im wondering if its the homebrew itself or the SD card. Id maybe save everything on your PC format the SD card then try again.

Worst case you can easily remove the channel and re-install homebrew.

I'd perhaps check your system.  Use Syscheck to determine if things are good.  You can also use modmii to make sure you have everything current.

I did a small thing for two players using the gamecube controller pcbs.  Couldn't get the LEDs to work without jacking up the controllers.  I used it to play SNES/NES, but not MAME.

I've hooked up arcade and a range of console controls to the wii.  Both can work at the same time.  They show up as a classic controller. Big news next week and at the end of April.

If you just want arcade controls my main question is does your wii have gamecube in and does that input work with your mame build?
