Hi all,
i'm running groovyarcade 2013 on a dell machine (ati hd 2400 xt) plug to a sony trinitron.
Some games works fine : sf2, mortal kombat, rtype but others dont : puzzle bobble, double dragon...Actually, the sound work but there no video. So it's a modeline generation probleme i believe but i dont have any clue on what to edit for every game to work.
I must add that i updated groovyume to the last binary : 0.160, but i am not completery sure if i did it in a proper way :
1) in /usr/games/bin i deleted groovyume and the symbolic link groovymame
2) I now pasted the new groovyume binary in the previous directory
3) i created the symbolic link by doing :
ln -s groovyume groovymame
Here is my ume.ini file :

I tried to generate a logfile by doing groovymame -v &>log.txt in shellmode but of course it didnt work because x is not in use (segmentation fault).
I know, i am a noob, any quick help would be greatly appreciated since i have an event with my cabinet this evening.
Thanks !
EDIT : i just noticed an another thread where it is said that the hd2400 does not support very low modelines...so what should i do for groovymame to use higher modelines for puzzle bobble and all ? Maybe i can force one modeline for one particular game but i dont know how to do that even if i believe that this question has already been posted...unfortunately i dont have time to dig the forum about that. Please, help.
