Ati radeon hd 24000 video modes
« on: April 15, 2015, 03:50:34 pm »
hi

I have recently got new set up and gfx card low profile radeon 2400..Well everythig went fine and i have just instaled crt emudriver selected interlaced resolution for my tv..But when i try to acces low resolution modes in Arcade OSD they are all blank screen even if they say CUSTOM and are bold and visible...So when i try to run groovymame low res game i get twice the resolution..The games aren't displayed in correct resolution.I know i have read that radeon 2400 doesn't support low pixel clock does that mean low resolution modes won't work ?

Btw i have set up dotclockmin in wmmaker and mame.ini

Any advice ?

Exactly.

What value have you used? (dotclock_min requires a value in MHz, not a boolean).

Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.

Then you shouldn't see those modes any more in Arcade OSD, unless you didn't run VMMaker after editing dotclock_min. Instead of that you should be seeing the corresponding duplicated modes (320x240-> 640x240, etc.).
