NeoGeo MVS Arcade Monitor Power to ATX
« on: April 03, 2015, 10:38:32 am »
Hello,

We replaced the PCB with a motherboard and ATX power, using a Jamma connector and 15hz software..  Everything is working well.

Issue we have is the monitor is still powered by the original cabinets power supply that is dying.

How can I connect the Arcade monitors power to the ATX powers supply?  Anyone have some photos of this or details ?

Any help to point us in the correct direction will be greatly appreciated.

I will tip anyone that can provide photos and details of how they connected it and we are able to replicate.

Thanks!

First be sure to look to see if your existing monitor needs an isolation transformer. If it does, then that transformer will still need to be connected and powering the monitor only.

bit more info-like model/make of monitor would help and why you think the supply is faulty
my guess is you have a hantarex mtc9000 series running from a u250 power supply
