Some roms don't show up in list, some roms don't run!
« on: April 02, 2015, 02:25:16 pm »
So I have GM running with my ATI 9250 gfx and played some Mortal Kombat and Elevator Action Returns last night. Wow it rocks.

But I noticed, of the roms I put in the roms folder, some don't show up in the list. Specifically: mslug.zip and pacman.zip is this a problem with the zip? I am able to run them in MAME in Windows with no issue.

Then there are some roms that when I try and launch, the screen goes black and then kicks me back to the menu: sf2, btoads, and tempest. Are these a resolution issue? If so how do I fix this?

Thanks for the help.

I'd suggest you get an updated romset.
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.

Updating roms fixed the the ones that fail to launch. Should have tried that first, sorry.

mslug and pacman still don't show up in the menu, though. What could cause them to not even show up?

You are missing bioses and additional firmware files.
