Weird Screen Scrolling Problem

Hey guys,

I don't know if you've seen this problem before, but It drives me nuts.

Sometimes I will be playing a game, and the screen will start scrolling really fast, like the video sync is off. I can escape to the front end, and it will  be set back to normal.

Using Mamewah, windows 98, 500mz pc. I'm using an ATI card connected to a TV. When I select a game, it seems like the resolution may be changing because the TV says "line" just for a minute. I don't know if any of that information will help diagnose the problem, but any input you have would be most appreciated.

Do you have a different TV you could try it on?  Just to narrow down possibilities a notch...
