ELO Touchscreen 15" problem
« on: March 07, 2015, 02:49:03 pm »
Running win8.1 w/ the latest drivers 6.4.1  but when I calibrate everything is off.  Why would touching the calibration button appear to be pressing another area of the screen?  When the calibration is done and the 'accept / retry' buttons appear I touch accept and it looks to be selecting the area above and to the right of the accept button.  Any ideas?

I have some touchscreen overlays that don't calibrate properly with the standard 3 point alignment tool supplied with the software. Something about the firmware is different or messed up.

I don't recall where what version it came from (I THINK v4.3.0), but in any case I have a 25 point alignment tool. just drop it in the ELO program folder and run it from there instead of the "EloVa.exe"It works for sure with windows XP, not 100% sure about windows 7/8 give it a try anyways.

(rename the file from ".txt" to ".exe" to appease the file block on the forum)
